Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how SNVRKOTICS collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the SNVRKOTICS web application and related services.

This Policy and these Terms cover every service we operate, not only the main application: snvrkotics.com (the SNVRKOTICS app), sync.snvrkotics.com (sync licensing), snvrkimages.com (SNVRK IMAGES), notebook.exchange (catalog valuations), nvr.to (smart links) and nvr.news (the news title). They are separate domains, two of them take payment, one of them carries advertising, and they are run by the same operator on the same infrastructure under the same commitments. images.snvrkotics.com is the former address of SNVRK IMAGES and now redirects to snvrkimages.com.

For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, SNVRKOTICS LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. SNVRKOTICS LLC is a limited liability company formed in the State of Delaware, United States, at 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901.

Where you use SNVRKOTICS to publish to a third-party platform, that platform is an independent controller of the data it receives and holds, governed by its own privacy policy. This Policy does not cover what a platform does with your content once published.

We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or political data) and ask that you do not submit them through the Service.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights, and you may object as described in section 8.

We do not sell personal data. On every service except nvr.news we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising either, as those terms are defined under California law, and never have. On nvr.news, Google serves the advertising and, if you have accepted personalized ads, sets its own cookies to do so; California law can treat that as "sharing". Section 5 says exactly what happens and how to say no, including the "Do not sell or share my personal information" choice, which on nvr.news is the Essential only button in the cookie notice.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

AI features are optional. Nothing is transmitted to an AI provider unless you actively invoke a feature such as caption feedback or rewriting.

When you do, the text you submit is sent to the AI provider we have configured to generate a response, and a record of the request is retained in your account history so you can see what was asked and what was returned. That provider is one of Anthropic, Google (Gemini) or OpenAI; the sub-processor table below lists all three, because which one is active can change without a change to this document.

We do not train AI models on your content, and we use our AI provider under paid API terms that prohibit the provider from using submitted data to train or improve its models. We do not send your videos or images to an AI provider. Only text you submit to a text-based feature is sent.

If you would rather no content ever reach an AI provider, simply do not use the AI features. Every other part of the Service works without them.

Smart links are the short links our customers create on nvr.to, or on their own domain, to point listeners at the stores that carry their music. If you tapped one of those links, this section is about you rather than about the account holder.

The consequence is worth stating plainly rather than leaving as a gap: we cannot tell an account holder how many distinct people visited their link over a month, because answering that would require keeping the very thing described above as not kept.

nvr.news, our news title, is funded by advertising. The advertising is served by Google through its AdSense program, and this section is about what that means for you when you read it. Nothing in this section applies to any other service we operate: the SNVRKOTICS app, the storefronts, notebook.exchange and nvr.to carry no advertising and no advertising cookies.

When you open a page on nvr.news, Google's advertising script loads and may set and read cookies on your device, including the DoubleClick cookie, and may collect your IP address, the page you are reading and technical details of your browser. Google uses that to serve ads, to limit how often you see the same one, to measure whether ads were seen, and to detect fraud.

We never write editorial content to suit an advertiser, ads are labeled wherever they appear, and we do not hand Google your name, your email address or anything you have told us. What Google collects, it collects as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy. Our authorized seller declaration is published at nvr.news/ads.txt.

nvr.news also publishes its own policy, written for readers of the title, at nvr.news/privacy. It covers the tip line, the notices California and other US states require, and the Global Privacy Control signal, which the title honors as an opt-out of personalized advertising.

Under the UK and EU GDPR, personalized advertising rests on your consent, which the notice asks for; non-personalised advertising and the cookies it needs rest on our legitimate interest in funding a free news title, balanced by the default being the least intrusive option and by the controls above.

Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement, or by contractual terms of equivalent effect, restricting them to processing data on our instructions.

We may also disclose personal data where we are legally required to, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety or property of SNVRKOTICS or others. Where we are lawfully able to notify you first, we will.

If SNVRKOTICS is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

SNVRKOTICS and its service providers are located in the United States. If you use the Service from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your personal data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

For those transfers we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable, incorporated into our agreements with the providers listed in section 5.

You may request a copy of the relevant transfer mechanism by writing to support@snvrkotics.com.

Deleting content in the Service does not remove anything already published on a third-party platform. You must delete that from the platform itself.

We may retain data longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or where the law requires it.

You can exercise most of these rights directly in the Service: your settings include data export and account deletion. For anything else, write to support@snvrkotics.com. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer because the request is complex.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent, in which case we will ask for proof of their authority.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to your local supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, the authority in your country of residence. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.

We want to be straightforward about the limits of that: SNVRKOTICS has not undergone a third-party security audit and holds no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001. We do not claim to. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the Service will never be compromised.

If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and will notify you without undue delay where the risk is high.

To report a suspected vulnerability, email support@snvrkotics.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing publicly.

We use a small number of cookies: strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session, and a preference cookie that remembers your light or dark theme. With your permission, our analytics provider sets its own identifier.

On every service except nvr.news we do not use advertising cookies and do not embed any advertising network. On nvr.news, Google sets advertising cookies as described in section 5, personalized only if you accept.

Our Cookie Policy sets out each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to support@snvrkotics.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy as the Service changes. The effective date at the top records when the current version took effect.

Where a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will give notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 of the GDPR. Privacy inquiries are handled by the proprietor of SNVRKOTICS directly.
